As far as I know that strike against me is still in my account records and there is no way to redress the issue. If you are correct then the ban that was placed on my account was unwarranted. Something like Cheat Engine isn’t allowed because it modifies game memory. Even with those programs there’s protections in place by Blizzard, trying to circumvent those protections is illegal.Īs for character/stash editing with a hero editor program or modding the inventory/stash (to be bigger for example), that’s fine. To put it simply: hardcode edits are 100% impossible to do by accident, you need specialized software like decompilers and hex editors and whatnot. There’s mods already that do things like increase stash/inventory/cube size, as long as you don’t try to join a multiplayer game with modded files you’re fine. No, that’d be a softcode edit and it’s safe.
